A Brief History of Harkila
Härkila was founded in 1985 by Kjell Lennartsson and his father, Lennart Davidson. The business grew out of a hunting dog kennel, and the brand describes itself as made by hunters, for hunters. Its first moose hunting set was an early example of GORE-TEX being used in hunting clothing.
Today Härkila makes jackets, trousers, base layers, boots and accessories for men and women, with different lines for stalking, driven hunts and bird hunting.
