Hoggs of Fife was established in 1888 in Strathmiglo, in the Kingdom of Fife, Scotland, starting out as a maker of hand-welted country footwear. The first boots were built for the farming and fieldsports communities, and the brand quickly earned a reputation for products that stand up to harsh British weather and hard daily use.
More than a century later the company is still owned and managed by the Hogg family and is based in Cupar, Fife. Leather footwear remains at the heart of the brand, but the range has grown to include rubber boots, technical waterproof clothing, shirts, knitwear, workwear and accessories.
