The Pinewood Hurricane Windproof water resistant Men’s Sweater combines the traditional look and warmth of a knitted country jumper with technical protection designed for demanding outdoor conditions. Warm, comfortable and highly breathable, it is an excellent choice for shooting, hunting, farming, walking and everyday country wear.
Made from a substantial 50% wool and 50% acrylic knitted outer, the Hurricane provides natural warmth and a classic textured appearance. A high collar with half-zip fastening gives additional protection around the neck while allowing easy ventilation when required.
What sets the Hurricane apart from a conventional knitted jumper is its integrated windproof and water-resistant functional membrane. Laminated to the flexible lining, the membrane moves naturally with the wearer rather than making the garment feel overly rigid or restrictive.
With a 12,000 mm water column rating and impressive 30,000 g/m²/24h breathability, the fabric provides excellent protection against wind and light wet weather while allowing heat and moisture to escape during active use. Please note that the seams are not taped, so the garment should be described as water resistant rather than fully waterproof.
Reinforcement in high-wear areas adds durability, while a synthetic leather Pinewood badge provides a traditional finishing detail.
